Calling all youth workers, adult educators, ESOL practitioners, family learning workers, community development workers and voluntary practitioners. Come join us as we celebrate Cyber Scotland Week and the launch new Safe, Secure and Empowered resources. Cyber Security and Resilience are not terms which are understood by everyone but it’s all about knowing how to be safe online so we are having a taster session about internet safety. This will help you can feel prepared and secure, and know what to do if there is a cyber-attack on your system. No prior knowledge required! This session will cover: Being safe online: what is it about and a taster session to understand how to do it, e.g. how to choose a strong password. Scams and how to identify fake emails and websites. Social media etiquette/behaviour online.
