Arts related adult learning

Luminate, Scotland’s creative ageing organisation, is conducting a survey into arts-related adult learning experiences and provision in Scotland – and would like your help.

National records project Scotland’s population to be ageing, estimating 2.7m Scots will be over 50 by 2025.  Luminate knows the benefits of arts-engagement and the important role it can play

To gather evidence about the kinds of creative learning opportunities available for the over 50s across Scotland, Luminate are conducting two surveys one for providers and one for participants.

The surveys take less than 15 minutes to complete and are open until Saturday 26th October.

Luminate will share key findings with participating and distributing organisations who opt in at the end of the survey, or you can drop Catherine@luminatescotland.org an email and request a copy of the findings.

“Preliminary research shows us there are arts-related adult learning opportunities open to the over 50s, but provision is very patchy and not always geared towards older learners’ needs”, says Anne. “By taking part in our survey, adult learning providers can help us identify the key factors that will help to change this over the coming years.”
