Our Purpose

To ensure Voluntary Sector Adult Education and Learning creates a successful, dynamic and forward thinking Scotland

Our Mission

We exist to support, promote, represent and develop the adult learning third sector in Scotland. Working with our partners we will:

Support the development of a strong, independent and vibrant voluntary sector adult education in Scotland, to provide quality learning opportunities to a diverse range of individuals and communities.

Enable the voluntary sector to fulfil its lifelong learning, social inclusion and democratic responsibilities, and therefore participate in the development of a fair, equal and sustainable society in Scotland.

Ensure that voluntary sector adult education is at the heart of decision making and forefront of service delivery in Scotland.
