Our Members
Our members are voluntary organisations which provide
informal, non-formal and formal
learning opportunities for adults.
Member organisations are diverse: some are large national
learning providers, and others are small and locally based. They
run a variety of learning programmes
which often include adult guidance, multi-agency work,
crèche provision and flexible times. The learning is
offered in centres, the work place, remotely and at home
and is informed by a social practice model. It is learner
centred and built on prior life and learning experiences, and often
identified as Community Learning and Development
(CLD).
Members benefit from inclusion in our national network, as
well as our many services, including national representation,
consultations, information, events and seminars.
