Our partners
Partnership and collaborative approaches are key to how we
work.
The Scottish Credit Qualifications Framework (SCQF) promotes
lifelong learning in Scotland. The Framework sets out the
mainstream qualifications in Scotland to help plan future learning.
It supports everyone in Scotland, including learning providers and
employers.
SCQF Partnership was established as a company limited by
guarantee to manage the Framework. We work in partnership
with SCQFP and are an active member of the SCQF National
Forum, SCQF CLD Forum and the SCQF Recognition of Prior Learning
Network. As well as representing the sector, we have
carried out investigations, an action learning set and numerous
events to raise awareness, promote and engage the network with
SCQF.
Education Scotland, a new organisation comprised of HMIe and
Learning and Teaching Scotland (LTS) is an important partner.
The communities team provides support for the three priority areas
of CLD. Our working in partnership with the communities team
ensures that our members are supported and their contribution
promoted across the education sector.
We operate with a core staff
and work collaboratively with specialists
to enhance our services.
Case studies on the Curriculum Wheel, Making
Numberacy Count, and Explaining the Difference
