The Scottish Government
The Scottish Government is the devolved government for Scotland.

Learning Connections
The Community Learning and Development, and Adult Literacy and Numeracy functions of Learning Connections, until recently part of Communities Scotland, was integrated into the Directorate General for Education of the Scottish Government and their website content is now located on the main Scottish Government website.

The Scottish Housing Regulator
The Scottish Government's housing and regeneration agency.

Voluntary Sector 

OSCR
The Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) is the independent regulator and registrar for Scottish charities.  We regulate over 23,500 Scottish charities including community groups, religious charities, schools, universities, grant giving charities and major care providers

SCVO
The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations is the umbrella body for voluntary organisations in Scotland. 

Volunteer Development Scotland 
VDS promotes and supports volunteering in Scotland mainly by providing information, training and support services for organisations which engage voluntary workers.

Access a growing bank of Scottish based learning and teaching resources, training materials and useful research and reports. Share your own resources and knowledge by contributing to the site. Quickly find, easily download and, where necessary, adapt the resources you want to suit your teaching style and your learner needs.

BBC Skillswise
Online resource for adult literacy and numeracy.    

CLD Standards Council for Scotland
The CLD Standards Council is the new professional body for everyone active in community learning and development in Scotland.

Communities of Practice in Adult Literacies (CoPAL)  
The Scottish Further Education Unit established a Communities of Practice to inform and  support practitioners

ESOL Scotland
This is the national English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) website for Scotland.

Financial Learning Online FLO
FLO is for people who are involved in setting up and running financial learning projects for adults in Scotland.

Money Matters
A financial education site developed by NIACE in partnership with Prudential. It aims to widen access to learning about money matters for people with a wide range of skills levels, and to enable learners to develop ICT and numeracy skills. 

SCQF
The Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (The Framework) promotes lifelong learning in Scotland

VOiCE is a database planning and recording tool designed to assist individuals and organisations to design and deliver effective community engagement. VOiCE has been developed using funding from the Scottish Government as part of the third year of support for the National Standards for Community Engagement.

Every year BIG gives out millions of pounds from the National Lottery to good causes. Our money goes to community groups and to projects that improve health, education and the environment.

One of the largest independent grant-making foundations in the UK.
