In 2009, jointly with Evaluation Support Scotland, we won an investment from the Scottish Government Learning Connections team to develop monitoring and evaluation capacity within the voluntary adult learning and education sector.
Using Evaluation Support Scotland’s expertise in monitoring and evaluation, we developed a pilot programme for five members to articulate the outcomes of their projects within the context of national outcomes.
Through the programme members built logic models to coherently identify outcomes and used a tailored toolkit to reliably measure progress.
See Explaining the Difference Online.
What do we mean by outcomes?
The original Explaining the Difference project group developed tables of Outcomes for adult learning that they might use to measure the impact of their adult learning programmes.
The membership form is also available as a Word document in case you would prefer to apply by email or post. The form is very brief and won't take much time at all.
