The appeal hearing on money owed to the Foundation by Lloyds Banking Group has found in favour of the Foundation.

Foundation took legal action against Lloyds Banking Group over money due to the Foundation through its covenant with the Bank. The original hearing found in favour of the Banking Group, and the Foundation appealed against this decision. Following an appeal hearing in early November 2011, the court's decision was announced on 29th December and the three appeal judges, including Scotland's senior judge the Lord President, Lord Hamilton, found in favour of the Foundation.
